Pay careful attention to yourselves and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to care for the church of God, which he obtained with His own blood. Acts 20:28 (ESV)

Steve is a founding member, and the founding elder, of Christ’s Church of Chattanooga. He has served congregations in Kentucky, Illinois and Tennessee since his call to the ministry of Jesus Christ in 1996. Steve graduated from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2005. The years of ministry, education, and expository preaching, have shaped his perspective of the Church. As Christians abide in Christ and trust that His Word will manifest fruit in themselves and others, the Church will grow, by default, in conversions and the sanctification of its members. Equipping families to throw the Word wherever they are is Steve's goal for leading Christ’s Church of Chattanooga. He and his wife Amy strive to serve their Savior as they raise their eleven children.
